LEADERSHIP AND EMPLOYABILITY THROUGH ACTIVITY
We run practical training to help young people build leadership qualities, confidence and employability skills. We do this by training them to lead younger children in fun activity which can be applied to a whole range of pathways.
We support work experience, volunteering, holiday employment, further training and career pathways and offer placement opportunities for university students.
Our courses are run by trusted delivery partners and accredited by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA).
WHAT WE OFFER
JUNIOR ACTIVE LEADERS
Aimed at 9-13 year olds developing independent, confident, responsible role models – approx. 20 hours of training.
14+ YEAR OLDS
ACTIVE LEADERS
For young people aged 14+ through to further education, developing employability skills and experience, work readiness and future pathways – approx. 25 hours of training
TRAINER ACCREDITATION
For people with backgrounds in teaching, coaching and leadership, to lead Junior Active Leader and Active Leader courses in their settings, as well as training experienced professionals to be Master Trainers, so they can train and accredit others to lead courses – approx. 3 to 5 hours of training.
